Bright light will make a Dieffenbachia bleach out it’s leaves to shield and protect itself. This is not a good plant for direct sunlight. If you see water droplets on the leaves, you should wipe these tears away as they can harm the plant. Dieffenbachia like to dry out between watering so do not keep the soil moist. They show browning edges when they are over and under watered.
