Physocarpus / NINEBARK
With new cultivars being released almost yearly, the Ninebark is quickly becoming a favorite in the Northern landscape. While there used to be far fewer choices and their performance was poor, popular cultivars in the last several years such as Summer Wine, Little Devil and Amber Jubilee are quickly making this a go-to plant choice for a number of reasons. See our selection of Ninebark choices below.

NINEBARK ON A STANDARD (tree form)
With the arrival of so many of these modern cultivars the element of using these shrubs as small trees has caused many of the varieties now to be available in "tree form" or grafted onto a standard. The exfoliating bark of the Ninebark make them a unique small tree in the landscape. We generally have a few choices available each season.
Great for small spaces like next to a patio or between a house and detached garage, tree form shrubs are generally much more modest in size and usually under 10 ft across making them a perfect candidate for that smaller space.
